A respect for the Sonoran desert and its fragile beauty … that’s what you get with this Rees Jones designed course. Elevated 3000 feet above sea level, the desert style course winds through impressive stands of mighty saguaro and mesquite. Like many other desert courses, the holes at Legend Trail are known by their names and not their numbers … holes like ‘Painted Desert’, ‘Water Chant’, ‘Good Medicine’ and “Stones that Speak”. The course is rated in the top 25 of Arizona’s golf clubs.

Homeowners have the right to join the golf club should it become private in the future, at 80% of the initiation fee offered to the general public. Homeowners have preferential rights to advance tee times and reduced green fees. Public rates for golf vary depending on the day of the week and the time of year. Rates for Legend Trail residents are approximately 90% of the public rates. Reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance. For groups of 2 – 15 players, advance reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance.

Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance for an additional charge. All rates include green fees, cart fee, tax, range balls, bag tag, tees, divot tool and yardage books. Resident discounted rates apply to immediate family members under the age of 22. Discounted rates do not apply to residents’ guests.
